How to share articles on Facebook
Facebook sharing is manual in RealEstateMarketingEngine. There is no Facebook account connection or automatic personal-profile publishing in RealEstateMarketingEngine today.
Before you start
- Sign in to Facebook with the profile you want to use.
- Use an article that is already live and publicly accessible on your website.
- Allow the Facebook sharing window to open. You decide the audience and finish the post yourself.
Follow these steps in order
- 1.
Open a live article
Find the published article in your Dashboard, Planner or article review page.
- 2.
Choose Share on Facebook
Click the Facebook share button. Facebook opens its own sharing window; no RealEstateMarketingEngine account connection is needed.
- 3.
Write your introduction
Add the article title first, then your own message. End with Learn more at YourSite.com and your site hashtag. Facebook’s share dialog does not let RealEstateMarketingEngine prefill your personal message.
- 4.
Choose the destination and audience
Use the choices Facebook offers for your signed-in account. To publish to a company Page when it is not offered, open the Page you manage and paste the article link into a new post there.
- 5.
Publish on Facebook and verify
Click Facebook’s final Post or Share button, then check your profile or Page. Opening the sharing window does not mean a post was published.
Troubleshooting
No window opens
Allow pop-ups for RealEstateMarketingEngine and try again, or copy the live article link into a new Facebook post.
Preview missing or outdated
Check that the article is public and has a title, description and image. Facebook may cache previews; the site owner can inspect the URL using Facebook Sharing Debugger.
